This was a fun piece to create. It was inspired by those pop up books that we all had as kids. I took some flat colors and popped them off the page using shadows and contrasting subtle colors, while using a paper texture to give it some character. Also it was fun to create something that is innocent at heart, something that would come straight out of a child’s imagination.
